I'd been wanting to see this amazing waterfall for almost two years, but the trail had been closed because of major damage. The trail had been opened for about a week when I visited and it was definitely worth the wait! This is an amazing place and words fail me when trying to describe it.

Toketee Falls, on the North Umpqua River, is located approximately 60 miles east of Roseburg, Oregon on Highway 138. The trail follows the river and reaches the falls in a little less than half a mile.

    Thank you and you're welcome!

  • I love it there! The whole Umpqua National Forest is AMAZING!

  • @ilikebluepez

It sure is, isn't it? I'm very blessed to have all that beauty around and have it be so close!

  • The water certainly does not look like that...clear, blue and clean, where I am presently living on the East Coast.

Such a shame. The South Umpqua River is that way, once it's gone through south Douglas County and Roseburg, it gets pretty disgusting. You can tell the difference as the South and the North come together....one's still pretty clear and the other, well...ick.....

  • i been here so many times its countless.. there are several waterfalls along the Umpqua River Hwy of 138 Toketee Falls is one of my Favorites including Watson Falls The hike to Toketee falls is nice but you do have to walk up and down some stairs but its worth the walk/hike.

i highly recommend toketee falls especially if your visiting Crater Lake... there is so much to see past crater lake. (ask the crater lake park for a flyer on where the waterfalls are near umpqa river.
