Haha this is GREAT!! I thought the movie Annapolis was okay simply because I like James Franco. But I know it is fictional and doesn't represent correctly the life of a mid. (The average person, however, might not understand that.)

The Naval Academy turned down the movie producers when they refused to revise the script to show that if you break the rules, you get punished.
(James Franco's character got to box in the end despite his trangressions.) Bad boxing movie, IMHO.
In the end, the movie was disjointed and poorly written. It bears little resemblance to any reality. It will be MANY years until another movie is made about Annapolis. Movie producers are more likely to use Mr. Dyckman's Boscobel for West Point.

Well, THAT stinks.

beating army 07 and 08 as well
GO NAVY BEAT ARMY!

We didn't like it. It was a crummy representation of what life as a mid is like.
"50,000 young men and woman applied to this academy, only 1207 of you were deemed worthy enough to pass through these gates, the rest went to West Point"
LOL

Yeah. That, and the fact that NONE of it was shot on campus.
