Happy New Year from Seoul, South Korea. Join Choonae and I as we take to the streets in Jonggak for the festivities. Enjoy the drummers, k-pop singers, and the pots and pans banging troupes as we ring in the new year, Korean Style!
Thousands of people gathered in the streets, hundreds of police stood by, ready to keep order. Bands, singers, and performers took to the stage and entertained us until, just moments before midnight, the countdown began. 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 Happy New Year!!!!
Then, for the next two hours we danced and partied in the streets, shot fireworks and roman candles, and spread New Years wishes to everyone we saw.
