We made a pulse choker, well more like pulse bra, that lights up depending on the wearer's heart beat via ECG signal from a pulse oximeter. The LEDs are from Aniomagic and connect to a Minduino (miniature Arduino-like device), which actually controls the pulse pattern.

@44209david This prototype was wired, so no wireless components were used. The product stemming from this "research" is Heart Spark (http://sensebridge.com/heart-spark.php), and that is wireless. The protocol used for it is Polar's proprietary wireless protocol that transmits at 5.5 kHz.
