Can't you just pour the beer into a pyrex cup or other container to keep the Aluminum out of your food?

YES! Had actually JUST read about this. I can sound like a recluse sometimes! You're like a mind-reader! Thanks for sharing! Might try it but me and beer have a history with my own project....it's like truth serum and I try to steer clear because of what occasionally happens when I open mouth after about two cans. :)
