Am I alone in not liking when wargame publishers place unit starting positions on the game map? I agree that it helps in faster setup, but I think it defaces the map artwork.....I would personally rather go through the trouble of looking for the hex number....
Some things worth mentioning, glossy color rulebook and color charts. My only wish is that MMP would spend a bit more on sturdier boxes, like GMT, but this is minor. The color rulebooks are a joy to read, something I don't think GMT does.
is this componet review only ?

I like how you explained the chit-pull mechanic.

Nice review Joe, but I'd also like to see a bit more of the actual game mechanics.
Keep up the great reviews.

Hi, What do you mean "re-edit"? I may not have six daughters but I do have 4 sons!

ASL is as far from Basic as wargaming gets. It's almost a hobby in itself for some.

Musical rooms - now in the basement, what's next the roof? Ha Ha
For those of us who haven't played ASL a wargame basics video would help. Other than components I'm not sure what game play looks like.
