I'm mexican and a translator. You could say "Why not the two?" to have the exact translation but it sounds a little bit weird. "Why not both?" is correct too (being the equivalent in Spanish "¿Por qué no ambos?"). It's just a matter of opinion. Wich one sounds better for you?

And Google Translate sucks.

well then google translator has failed me again. they both came back as "why not both?" but never did any of them come back "why not both of them?". I really need to learn spanish. I have a good understanding for languages but I never bothered to learn another language. I know computers cant translate very well because they are too logical. The most accurate I have found that computers translate are between english and japanese.
