Sure thing. I used the normal, 18-55mm kit lens for this video. With some good color correcting, you can make video from any lens look pretty decent :]

Believe it or not, the whole video is handheld, using the stabilization function on the kit lens :] As for the shooting, I was actually in the back center seat of the car (I wasn't actually driving), so don't worry, the road is still safe :D

If you plan on shooting "on the go" videos, like maybe family vacations or videos of parties or events, I'd recommend the Sony HDR-XR150. It is much more portable, and the stabilization is superior to that of the Canon. But if you're thinking of shooting short films, documentaries, and other scripted videos, the T2i is a great choice. I think it's worth paying the extra $300-400 dollars for not only a camera that takes great video, but great still photos as well. It has a very -
