the macbook likle to be updated to quad core

i think i did not find what i was looking for in the rumors.. do you guys think next update in macbooks will be significant that would worth waiting for? it seems to me that they will switch to 17" specs, like 8gb memory embedded battery, 2.93ghz etc.

& when?

meh Macworld sucked seriously, all they talked about was ilife and iwork... which to me are useless.. Im thinking about getting an iMac, but like many other ppl im waiting on the update! Ive been with pc for a while the main reason i didnt switch is price.. but now i have some money and i feel like i should really buy an iMac, funny thing but ive wanted one since i was kid, so it'll be like a dream come true :]

i also hope that we will get new cinema displays that will still work with the mini dvi port on my imac and are most importantly cheaper!

just to say that the all of apple products are going to have a mini display port on it because when steve jobs was introducing the new macbooks he said that the mmini display port will be featured in all of our future products.
