WATCH IN HQ IF POSS.
I went to see the Duchess on the very first day and on the way home this song came on shuffle on my ipod and I thought it was perfect. Ever since then I have been waiting to vid it.
The song is James Blunt: Tears and Rain. I always seem to come back to James Blunt; his songs tell such interesting stories.
The video is about G's life rather than focusing specifically on one of her relationships. It tells her story pretty much chronologically but that wasn't neccessarily deliberate it was just the way things turned out when I listened to the lyrics.

The child was hers and Charles Grey's. Her husband forced her to end the affair but then discovered she was pregnant with the child so sent her into convalesence in the country where she had the baby in secret and then was forced to gave it to Charles Grey's family. If she hadn't gone along with it her husband would have made sure she never saw her other children again.
