Here is my unbiased review of this 22" Westinghouse monitor I purchased from Best Buy a little over a year and a half ago. It's utterly disastrous. For no reason, it shuts of for no reason or rhyme and the user must turn it back on manually on the not so user friendly touch panel, located on the side of the unit. I give my honest apology I couldn't say any better about the unit. I sent it to best buy, informed them of my problem, and they shipped it off to Westinghouse, who supposedly "observed it for 8 hours" yet couldn't find out what happens when I use it for 8 minutes. I'll be sending them this link, even though my warranty has expired, in effort to get some responsibility for the poor build of this product.
I have had this monitor over 3 and a half years and never once had it turn itself off. It works pretty good for a cheap monitor.. although I will admit the side panel electro static buttons DO suck to find and press. and probably is your problem with that one.. faulty panel.

I concur with your review. Our 22" Westinghouse monitor worked fine for just over a year on my wifes computer. One day she said "My computer won't come out of sleep" but when I checked, the PC was fine but the monitor would not come on. Power cycled the monitor, unplugged the power cable, then it came on. For a day or two. Then it went off and never came back on. I had an old Sceptre 19" that I put on for her and it still works to this day.
The Westinghouse 22" monitor DIED too soon.
