You and I have similar tastes in music, YOU moony...have what TRUE artists have: The ability to have and recognize a strong [vicseral] emotion, and the rare ability-innate- to express that same emotion -to the listener-basically unfettered. Of course the artistry that seperates that group of artists is in HOW that emotion is expressed- Joni Mitchell is queen- agree??

I agree with you, I'm going to re record this one and put it up again soon. I transposed it up to B flat and that was still too low for my voice...but then tried it up in C and it didn't sound right, so I just sighed and did it in Bflat! Just seein the response for me singin lower

Oh my God...someone (like you) HAS to record this arrangement. I dare say if you did I would enjoy it more than The Band's recording. I usually wouldn't bet on purely acoustic covers surpassing originals but your voice and the lone piano actually seems to fit this song better than what they chose. Maybe that's why it was never my favorite track on the album.
