@Miss407 I came to mans aid faster than Gods. Lord forgive me.. After some thinking I can agree. My discernment must be off. Thank you and God bless you, its good to know not everyone is spiritually sleep.

@Miss407You know, you could be right.. maybe it is just me being religious. I recall hearing a pastor saying "Rehad was the biggest hoe in the bible", I felt a bit offended.. mainly because one should show more discipline when preaching. But at the sametime consider this pastors upbringing and what events that happened in his life to instill such a character trait. I really didnt approve of him saying it multiple times but I did get the message he was sharing.

@lash009 This is another thing growing in the church: coming to the defense of someone who is clearly defaming the name of Jesus. You're probably repeating something you've heard church folk say, "Stop being so religious." This message would clearly offend someone who has a true relationship with Christ. It's the religious folk defending this foolishness. Be careful about coming to the defense of man first and not Christ.

to a lost soul and telling them to tell someone that's hurt them, "f-you"? How do you think this looks to people who aren't Christians and you're telling someone "f-you"? Even non Christians know this stuff sounds foolish. It's not about the pastor. It's about Christ. You can't believe that Jesus would be ok with one of his own saying "f-you" to someone, or better yet, could you imagine Jesus saying "f-you" to get a point across? People get your mind off of man and on to Jesus.

When he was preparing for this sermon, the thought, "f- you" probably jumped out at him as if it was a bright idea, not realizing that the bright idea wasn't from God. There is no way that a person can consciously say "f- you" to someone without knowing the origin of it. And his congregants and others are repeating it and latching on to it without being discerning of what they're actually insinuating. Remember folks: this is not about US. It's about Christ. Could you imagine witnessing

This is why our Africa-American churches are dumbing down. We love theatrics more than theology. There are no longer pews in the church, but a bunch of high chairs. If we had pews in the church we would have our people serious about the word of God. But siince we are still babes, please on next Sunday bring your bibb so when the pastor spoon feeds you from your high chair and not the pew with garbage like this, do not get upset with him.
