Adults need protecting too - advert

Advert from new, hard-hitting TV campaign launching on 14 February to offer hope to the thousands of Scottish adults who suffer verbal, physical, sexual and financial abuse every day, often at the hands of their own families.

The adverts focus on the issues of the financial abuse of the elderly, the day to day abuse suffered by adults with learning disabilities and how long term alcohol abuse can affect a person's ability to look after themselves.

The two week campaign is a partnership between 14 Scottish councils which have pooled their resources to reach out to the 2.3million adults who live in the STV Glasgow transmission area.

The councils involved are: Argyll & Bute, East Ayrshire, East Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire, Falkirk, Glasgow, Inverclyde, North Ayrshire, North Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, South Ayrshire, South Lanarkshire, Stirling and West Dunbartonshire.
