The EDL mouth-breathers' roadshow reaches Nottingham. Photos shot on Agfa film in an Olympus Trip 35 compact camera and developed in the kitchen sink. More DIY film pics: http://tinyurl.com/filmbyladymuck

  • Thank you all for these lovely comments!

@RicardosRealm no flash - I very rarely use it. IMO, photography is about capturing light and moments, not making people pose and blasting them with flash. *shudder*

(posing, argh.... I shoot weddings sometimes, and I have nightmares about the "bride and dad and bridesmaid" posing bit. I'll post a video rant about it one day...)

  • good job

  • @Djinga Thank you!

  • what did the policeman say at the end?

  • It was something like "now you can go home and watch the X Factor"... errr ok.....

  • Another victory for the trip!

Everyone who has one join the flickr group 'Olympus trip 35" and share your photos.

If you don't have one, go and get one.

  • I think it's "Oh, well, you enjoy your evening, watch the X-Factor tonight" Great video and great stills! I'm waiting for my first two rolls of film to be developed. I got those really cheap to use for testing, one only did 14 (instead of 36!) exposures, the other one did all 36. But for £1.50 per roll, you can't really complain... Personally, I wouldn't really invest in lots of expensive film if I wasn't sure if the camera work ok. Looking forward to see more of your "Trip Adventures"!

  • Crikey. Your photos are something else, ladymuck. I recently bought a Trip after rediscovering the joys of analogue photography. I heard great things about the Trip's lense and have shot 4 rolls of film with it, but have to wait another week until payday to get the photos developed and see how they came out (doh!)

Your pics are gobsmacking - particuarly the shots of the cops. Did you use a flash? The colour and lighting look amazing. .
