Anybody wondering what it looks like on the Tenth of October. There are indeed 4 moons, one is close to the edge of the planet disc.-look 4 it.

  • The white little spots around the discs are moons-see videos .

  • Congratulations on your first telescope. You have hours of fun ahead of you. Jupiter is the white star in the west when the sun goes down. A few hours later a reddish looking star is in the east , that's Mars*. Planets have a constant glow to them. Stars twinkle planets glow steady, remember that. The moon is a good view too. Now go out and start looking! *By the time Mars is visible Jupiter may have gone away.-A

  • I know nothign about astronomy. Got my first refractor telescope yesterday. Any tips for the beginner, on how to find Saturn or Jupiter in the sky?
