She is definately the definition of DIVA...her VOICE demands the stage....the original meaning of the DIVA...she is a WORLD OVER CONFIRMED DIVA along with PATTI, ARETHA, CELINE AND GLADYS

I remember first hearing this on the M&S Christmas ad in 2006, what an absolute fantastic cover. It's not often you see a classical remix of a song of it's kind.

Also i really hope Dame Shirley sings the next Bond theme, they'd be stupid not to sign her up!

Very Bondesque. Shirley Bassey is a living legend and true diva. She can make any song her own. She is so beautiful, talented and her voice is so unique.  You definitely know when she is singing. No one sounds like her at all. Thanks for the post.
