@doggtaggz i think he actually cut two bars
-
I think he cut one bar towards the end of the cadenza (round about 4:19) (?)

Incredible pianist, inpeccable technique!! Above Horrowitz if you ask me!! I even prefer his cadanza above Rachmaninovs... But still as a whole piece, his phrasing, the voyage Rachmaninov takes you in to appeals more to me than Leif Ove. Rachmaninov was just... a hundred percent music, incredible he was.

I love this! I would be so happy to see the better conversion. Should I send money? I know the Swedes don't care about copyright issues, they are too busy trying to trump up bogus sex crime charges against Julian Assange. He has his issues, but let's face it, if that's all they've got (charges I might add which were dropped and then refiled much later), then they are grasping at straws. They won't be paying attention.

He chooses the slower cadenza 2:22, like Ashkenazy. Great choice! Beautiful details... the reexposition is played pianissimo, to great effect. There is unity and taste in his narration.

holy shit technically wow! he barely makes a single slip.....
Great performance !
I wish it was cut somewhere else, but probably that's the price for high quality in youtube.

I guess you mean the offset between picture and sound. Yes that is maybe due to my old convertion programme. I later found a better way to convert.
