5-14-78 Prov was my first show (the Keith & Donna era). just thankful the majority of the 200+ shows I attended were when Jerry was alive. Some VERY good memories, and the bus ride continues with no stops in sight...ride on Captain!

Saw my 1st show in 1987. The bus came by, and I got on, that's when it all began. Saw my last show at Soldier FIeld 07/09/95. If I had only known It would be the last time, I probably wouldn't have been drinking so much beer. I still remember thinking, this is fucking awesome.I love the Grateful Dead!

I love the sound of the music on all of these old videos from this set. Like, the way it was recorded or something... It's not pristine and clear like all the official releases, but it's just slightly... vintage. dusty. smoky room vibe. as if it has aged like a fine wine. it's perfect for the music and the band. I think I prefer it.
