Dallas Attorney John Browning discusses the Stop Online Piracy Act, which is before Congress currently, with FOX4 News' Steve Eager. John Browning says that while individuals had good intentions in writing the act, the legislation overreaches in attempting to protect copyrighted content, such as movies, images and music. That this going to prevent us, because of this overly oppressive framework that's being proposed, from coming up with the next Facebook. The next Google." That this (proposed legislation) Mr. Browning -- Managing Partner of the Dallas office of Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP -- is a tough, aggressive trial lawyer with more than 21 years of experience. Mr. Browning represents individuals and businesses both large and small in state and federal courts throughout Texas and Oklahoma, and on a pro hac vice basis in other jurisdictions.
