Vegan Vendors Help Take The Cruel Out Of Yule

VICTORIA - The streets are packed with holiday shoppers, all looking for that perfect gift. And when it comes to buying for a vegan, sometimes it can be tough.

After years of fighting the commercial norm, several specialty shops have popped up in the last few years, providing cruelty free options for shoppers.

Vshoen Boutique opened in August and sells vegan shoes, bags and belts. A few blocks away Sarah's place sells everything from clothes and dishes, to vegan cook books. Owner Sarah Kramer has also created her very own IPHONE application called GoVegan.
