Metroid Prime 3 Corruption: Vs. Aurora Unit 313 Hypermode Difficulty [HD]

This is a battle against the Aurora Unit 313 on Hypermode Difficulty.

Definitely took longer than my Veteran run but I'd say it was a lot more entertaining because of it. I really tried to hit the scanners for automatic stun when I had the chance since time was of an essence.

This might also be the reason you see me shoot in the complete opposite direction of the tentacles. Since the scanners always show up on the other sides (obviously lol)

Killing the Dark Echoes are always useful for some Anti Phazon Orbs.

I found that if you have a high bar of Phazon, this is my strategy to avoid getting fully corrupted: Don't damage it! The main reason for this, is that if you keep attack weak points and the Phazon Clones, you actually start pulling the bar back to the start. It's slower than watching paint dry, but you do manage to get almost any level you had, back to 0%. I managed to defeat AU 313 and using that strategy, I only had to worry about damage, and that wasn't much to think about.

Oh you mean biding your time and getting anti-phazon orbs? That's a good strategy. My only problem is if I took that long, this video would be like 30mins long not 10 lol

The game could have ended with a more epic fight, like a giant Dark Samus mech with all your friend's abilities. I could have been awesome! But there COULD be a Metroid Prime 4, because of the 100% end :P

Hypermissiles help me a lot on this fight. Since im not that fast a shooter, I usually get at least 1 or 2 Hypermissiles, which take about a quarter of its heath.

I say free lock is more fun simply because the aim is all about you. Feels more like a FPS :)
