  • White album=Best album ever.

  • @its4it White and Abbey are my faves. For me, the White LPs are superior to Sgt. Pepper's. In particular, John's White tracks are just superb & include some of my all time favorite Beatle songs (Dear Prudence, I'm So Tired, Sexy Sadie, Cry Baby Cry, Julia, Yer Blues). Then there was George's increased presense on White (he had a somewhat "reserved" role on Pepper) with his greatest song to date - While My Guitar Gently Weeps, a Harrison & Beatle classic! Paul was amazing as usual. An A+ for me.

  • @WiiLuxio WITH SUCH MASTER PIECES AS HONEY PIE AND WHY DON'T WE DO IT IN THE ROAD??????......RUBBISH.

  • "with the white album, we were more of a band again"

...is that why you recorded it in separate recording suites?

  • i think revolver, sgt. pepper's and white album are the best!

  • prog rock?i think you read too many rolling stone comic books asswipe

  • Srgt. Pepper set the basis for Prog Rock. So, Ringo you hate it, I admire it for bringing up bands like Yes & Pink Floyd.

  • @socrates1818 i quite liked band on the run and imagine, plastic ono band and not forgetting double fantasy

  • George: "Tried to do a Smokey. I just aren't Smokey."

  • @socrates1818 You're very right. But G. Emerick comes back (Band on the Run) and Sir George Martin made this band into it's creative, collective entity. The White album is my favorite Beatles' album (always take two over one - really). Side two on this - the best side of any Beatles' record.

  • George Martin and Geoff Emerick the common thread to this collection of individuals" solo work, as it were. that's why the post Beatle stuff is nowhere near this - No George and Geoff

  • i"ve got blisters on my fingers was not on the finished version of helter skelter yeah sure maybe on the stereo mix but not in mono and the mono version is the way i like the song
