  • You should have treated the ceiling as well. Your getting tons of reflections off that ceiling and some off the window.

  • @danakerman - the ceiling was actually treated later on. As well as some low frequency absorption being added. However - listening to the final sound at the end of the clip before that treatment wouldn't lead anyone to believe there are "tons" of anything. It's a quite room, period.

  • cool stuff ...does it ever get hot in there and what do you do if it happnes?

  • @josebachata - It does get hot after a while because the space is so small - but what I find is more important is the temperature of the room before it gets used. If the room is nice and cool to begin with, it's quite nice to work in it for a while. If it's hot in there to start it can be a problem. Most of the time when it gets really hot I just open the door for a few minutes between takes. Most projects don't last forever.

  • @utprizzo Sure I could have - but then I wouldn't have had an excuse to by that fancy nail gun I had always wanted.

  • I watched your videos about the booth over and over again. I used the ideas you folks talked about in my own booth construction. Nice job kids!

  • Look into Ebay for sure, super super cheap prices, and the quality really isnt that much of a difference.. I promise you, its what i am using.

  • @testr321 Ebay is good bro. I bought 200 sqf for 260$. My vocal booth is a 4ft wide and 6ft long and it covered the hole booth and i still had some left.

  • @testr321 It's pretty muchh the same everywhere. Guitar Center and Sweetwater occasionally put together packages for relatively cheap - it's also good to keep an eye on Ebay for deals - just make sure if you buy used that the foam isn't all chewed up by adhesive from the previous installation.

  • @minewurxstudio do u have any advice wer i can get foam...or is it pretty much the same price everywer
