Part 4 will show this meter NOT being able to read amp's from a battery , and it will not read amp's coming from an ATX power supply, but from a charger or PWM . It is right on par with another meter that does read any amp at frequency's .001Hz to 10MHz.

  • It appears that you have a speed control on the blower. That would very likely be a PWM circuit, and it would also send a pulsed current. Take the measurement directly off the battery cable without the alternator running. That would have to be DC.

  • That was with out it running , just the heater blower running. I'll test a 12 volt bulb in and do a video.

  • is it ac and dc clamp meter

  • Being an electronics wiz, do you think this is a valid test.

  • you need an dc clamp meter and yes your vids make a lot of sense at least you have a clamp meter not those vids with the small round car amp or the battery charger i wish i had a FLUKE amp meter more accurate but most expensive.

  • In the other two videos its reading amps on my cell using a charger, it makes more sense after watching the other 2

  • Looking more it dont have dc amp anything , not even with the leads.

  • None of the paper work with the meter doesn't say anything about dc amp when using the clamp.
