Drat! You can't even see the squirrel running across the yard in the YT version.

Yes, she's wearing a kitty harness with a leash. I know she's not a dog, but I don't think it's very safe (or smart the way she darts) to let her out alone. Last time she got out by herself I found her three doors down hissing at another cat, not safe considering she doesn't have claws and that cat probably did (her previous owner had her declawed, we adopted her that way). She's such a prissy little girl with us, but she really does not get along with other cats for some reason. She's mainly a house cat but I hate to banish her in because she's so intrigued by the outdoors.

  • My tomcat (I had before my hubby lol) was also very shy outside the first two or three days. But then he became the 'leader of the gang' of all the cats in our street. And I can't count how often he brought me still alive mice and birds as a gift though he had three little bells on his neckband.

  • mmmmm that sounds appetizing. lol

  • just like kids..tell um one thing, they want to do something else..lol

  • My sister swears she had her at the park on the kitty leash one night and she was walking along letting kids pet her and being friendly, but all I've ever seen her do is sit down or run under a bush. lol

  • wow! my cat did that once. whatta frisky feline!

  • hmmm maybe she IS trying to sneak out lol No I think that's maybe 3-4 times in the three years we've had her. lol I think she is very curious because she sits in the window, but then gets scared when actually out there.

  • Not usually. She wandered out a few times at my parents' house when they left the screen door open but we found her sunning herself on the porch and she came right back in. She ended up out last winter when I opened the door a crack to vent burnt toast fumes (didn't think she could get out that small of a crack) but she ran back in as soon as I opened the door. She must have slipped out when I was bringing in groceries the last time. Hissing at the other cat I think was because she was scared

  • Right now, tho he is intrigued by outdoors and loves to sit in the window all day, he is terrified, too. sometimes hubby carries himoutside and jack clings to him like his life depended on it. i'm afraid that if i brig him out, he will be trying to sneak out every time we open the door. does candice try to sneak out?
