So if im understanding this right I can connect my 3d blu-ray player to this box and the box to my non-3d tv and watch the 3d with red/cyan glasses? thats awesome! and will the box also control shutter glasses? So i could use the shutter glasses with my non-3d tv(of course the glasses would still be controlled by the box)?

i went from red/ blue to rf glasses then back to red/blue your options are :watch clear 3d with discolouration, or watch 3d with no discolouration threw a "fan" wich looks a tad bit choppy.this device is amazing because it converts 2d content in realtime with out the need to buy 3d content and expensive players .the 3d effect is very good but it lacks the dynamics of real3d ,it only has 3 settings that you change manualy.great for 100 bucks though and honestly its all 3d is worth.its all tiring.

the red and blue anglyph glasses are also the only sure bet you will get 3d they are pretty vivid if you get your displays brightness and contrast right you wont melt your brain i also like to ad more green it increases the effect.make sure if you do buy shutter glasses they are of good quality .i got cheap ones from ebay the instrucion where so bad i had to find out the operation of the glasses by trial and error and rf sensor sucked the glasses would turn off constantly and the range sucked.

you can use this with anything that has a HDMI but newer devices must have a different version of HDCP compliantcy and wont let you use it.the display i encountered was a sharp quattron. it detectected the converter and said it wasnt an hdcp compliant device.my optoma dlp projector works with shutter glasses wich are suspposed to better but honestly i can see the constant flicker and it drives me nutz.the best 3D comes in the box with red blue glasses you can get use to itat leasts its clear.

it will but only with red blue glasses wich melts your brain in 45 minutes.its susposed to work with rf shutter glasses but it depends if your projector is DLP projector and an Not LCD.id also say be carefull testing this because you wont be sure wich glasses will work unless you buy them. most say there universal but some combos wont work also the very latest of dchp compliant hdmi will not let this converter box work.SHARP QUATTRON
