1st Sgt Bodette is actually in the Marine Corps, and if you can tell from his ribbons he has a Bronze Star with a combat V and a Purple Heart. So the guy is a legitimate badass! He can be on that show and say whatever the heck he wants to. Haha

i've seen bodette on a few shows about marines in the middle east and you are right, he is a true badass

@BigBoyFatso nah its probably because the japanese already found the intrepid

You know that guy who left his lights on during the night raid got CHEWED OUT when they got back.

@23RedPheonix is USS entrepid a aircraft carrier?
-
@23RedPheonix They didn't doubt it. The US did had radar which did detect the Japanese airplanes. However, the officer commanding the radar dismiss them as USAAF B-17 scheduled to be station on Hawaii.
Wait so the ppl operating the radar on the night raid planes werent actually in the cockpit?

@iH8Rednecks1 The radar is mounted under the fuselage. It shows up on a display to the crew members.

I have a question.
Why did USS Intrepid fired her guns while USS Enterprise didn't, cause i thaught they didn't want their carriers to be seen at night?

@23RedPheonix I think you answered your own question here. The Enterprise needed to stay out of the firefight while the other (less but still important) ships remained in the firefight. It was a method of self-defense.

@BigBoyFatso why would USS Intrepid be less important than USS Enterprise?

@brokennailstudios Important is sort of a wrong word. "More threatening when damaged or lost" is a more proper description.
