Gheyzhak-e Koli - قیژک کولی

The true gypsy and his Gheijak/Gheichak/Gheyzhak.

This past summer I spent about a week in Mashhad, visiting friends and family, and every Tuesday and Friday afternoon this man with his superb ear and talent would show up in the neighborhood and the sound of his instrument would drag me to the door without control.

I hope you enjoy it too.. Also, after seeing him in person I couldn't help but remember the latest album by Dastan Ensemble & Homayoun Shajarian named Gheyzhak-e Koli. The imagery is vividly painted.

Thank you very much, I'm an Iranian No mad as well. this music is go so much similarities to the music of Gypsies around the world. the kowli or the Gurbati people are also people of Aryan blood, . i would like to thank Oshagh and ask you ing. i would like to thank Oshagh and ask you if you can give me more information about the Gypsies in Iran. thank you
