  • The sound that your hear is from all information on the different 8 and 16 mm films that are pasted on the transparant 35 mm film. So yes, your hear the sound of the frames but also the holes and the images, all passing by the optical lamp, in the 35mm projector, that produces the sound.

I would look up either "film stop" or "film burn", and you could probably make one by cutting the spocket holes to make them stick out.

  • The noise you hear is the frames of the 8mm film being passed over the optical sound reader in the 35mm projector. Or at least that's what it would sound like.

  • Whats that noise? Hey do you know anyone who has footage of when a film reel stops rolling and the light burns the film? or know what its called so I can look for something like that?
