@Rulzat Necromancers in DDO are alright, I used to have one, at lvl 12 there's an enhancements that either turns you into a Wraith or a Lich, of course I took the Lich, though the Wraith could be mighty handy too. (incorporeal etc.)

Use bludgeon, gang up on the birds or just get a wiz/sorc that knows what they are doing.
