Driving from near the office where I worked to the Airport to fly across the country to another city in a helicopter. The trip was cut out a bit to fit in youtube's 10 minute requirement. The actual trip was about 15 minutes.

  • Not sure about all roads, but major roads in Rwanda were actually built by the Chinese over 20 years ago! Worked in Gisenyi and Kigali back in 94/96 after the genocide...most beautiful country and people. HOpe to go back someday! Amahoro Rwanda!

  • Apparently they're going to. The government announced last August (2009) that soon they will dive on the left like other EAC countries.

  • Just dropped in again and this time I noticed that there are traffic lights at all junctions not just at the major ones. And there are also lamp posts throughout the entire stretch of road. GREAT STUFF!

It's nice to see Africa progressing.
