That was a bit difficult. For the rear baffle I simply used a torch to blow out edges then pulled it out. For the cat, I had to use a breaker bar, like a big screw driver, and hammer it in, twist it, and keep breaking off chucks of it at a time. Took about an hour to do. You do have to remove the pipe from the bike to do it. But thats easy.
The exhaust sounds great!!. I just got a 07 blue v star 1300. Did you have to do anything else with the bike when you did the exhaust?? The way it lookes the bike runs great.
I have one more question. How did you gut the pipe out?

does gutting the pipe adversly affect performance compared to just drilling the baffles. It sounds great.

I didn't do anything else to it at all... runs great and mileage is still great
