@092bassman - I know where ur coming from; it's about an Old Testament passage. If u study that verse, it was WORSHIP of the tree that was condemned. The important thing here, I think, is the Message of His Birth, as Savior of the World, is getting out, at least once a year. Should we not remember the birthday of the King of Kings, our Savior? Look what He did 4 each & everyone of us. God BECAME FLESH! What an enigma, think about it!!! He deserves ur reverence, ur awe, ur humility.
Blessings,L.

I'm sure he's a JW. They don't celebrate "pagan" holidays-regardless if it's to honor the birth of Jesus Christ: God the Son: Emmanuel.

@092bassman What part of celebrating Christmas are you actually offended by?

Its strange but your song "I heard the bells on Christmas Day " gets me straight to the heart even when it is not Christmas.
Mark you did an excellent work on this album. I would like to thank you for singing it for the first time for me. I never heard of it before you sang it and the message that it says is always with me.
Thank You.
