Stranger Among Bears

Featuring some of the most intimate footage of wild bears ever seen, this moving series follows Charlie Vandergaw, an extraordinary man who has been living a potentially lethal existence deep in the Alaskan wilderness for over 20 years.

Charlie has developed a unique, but controversial, relationship with both black and grizzly bears and now, for the first time, he has allowed an entire season at "Bear Haven" to be filmed.

British cameraman Richard Terry not only learns to get up close and personal to the world's most dangerous predators, but in doing so captures attacks and intruders, as well as the Alaskan authorities clamping down on what may prove to Charlie's last year as a "Stranger Among Bears."

i dont think hes doing wrong just live him alone the bears are wild . they only put their guard down when they are in charlies property . the narator of the show says that even charlie who has been living with them for 20 years is in danger in the woods around his cabin so i think hes not doing any harm the bears come and go as they please he dosent go looking for them .(god bless charlie)

@duswdav No, that was the other dude, living in a tent by the river whith Grisly bears, his girlfriend came to join him, the next morning they were both slaughtered by his "friends", i think...Don't try this at home...Why people must live amongst this dangerous creautures..I don't know...
