The Intro of the Italian Job (Widescreen)- the Lamborghini Miura driven through the Alps down to Turin, to the sound of Matt Monro singing 'On Days Like These'. Classic.

Hello, I was just wondering whether this opening has been filmed with the help of some special effects technique or not ? Do you think that a camera was fixed on the passager's seat filming straight or this is a projection in from of the car in a studio ?
It's too bad that ANY song is playing, the sound of the Miura's 12 cylinders is music enough! I got a ride in a black '72 Miura SV a few years ago in Germany, and it was beyond words. These cars did'nt come with a stereo (it was an option) because Lamborghini felt the engine the music. The engine is also too loud for a stereo, but it's a beautiful noise.

"it's all your fault"
a rise, in human terms is "ARE YOU TAKING THE MICKEY OUT OF ME", as Sir Michael Caine would no doubt put it.
