What follows is the description from the text file included in that .ZIP:
This level by NutWrench (who, as far as I know, has not made any maps since then) is a city map that plays quite well, and doesn't lack in the visual department (except for some destructible walls with misaligned textures.) Aside from containing two subway tunnels, this map is especially notable for two things. One, for a memorable sequence in which cage doors rise and trap you in a hallway, and then the lights turn off after a few seconds, after which you are attacked by a Protector Drone. Two, for the inclusion of escalators, using an undocumented Sector Effector that is never used in any official level, and, in fact, was a leftover from LameDuke (super-old beta version of the game released by 3D Realms for historical interest.) Of course, in this run, out of those two, you'll only see the latter.
The demo begins with me using a Small Ledge Push to clip through metal bars, skipping two keycards, followed by... me dodging a subway train. Believe it or not, there's a portion of the subway tunnel in this route that you can run into, and allow the train to pass by you harmlessly. I don't know if this was intentional. After I jetpack to the yellow keycard, I ride a train for a bit before I decide I'm sick of standing around, and jump out of it (in the same spot I ran into before.) I proceed to chase the train all the way to the yellow keycard door; after that door, I jetpack my way to the exit. :)
I got a 00:48, originally, and then I pared my way down to 00:36. I think this is optimal, but I welcome anyone who'd like to try for 00:35. :P
Nice escalator!
