On Electric Psychedelic Sitar Headswirlers Vol. 5, the band are mistakenly called The Book of Am.That is in fact the title of their album."Can Am des Puig means 'House of Am on the Hill' in Catalan. It's the name of Juan Arcocha and Leslie MacKenzie's house in Ibiza and was also the adoptive name of their rented house in Deia, where the album was recorded. It was released in 1978.
It is now available as an incredibly beautiful double album with words[144 page book] and pictures depicting their concept.Painstakenly put together, now in its entirety, it is a sight to behold.
Musicians:
Juan Arkotxa: Vocals, Flute, 12 String Guitar
Leslie Mackenzie: Tamboura, Vocals (1,7)
Jerry C. Hart: Guitar, Drums, Synthetizer (6), 12 String Guitar (11)
Carmeta: Vocals
Jean-Paul Vini: Synthetizer, Vocals (1) Guests:
Phil Shepard: Vocals & Drums (9)
Pat Meadows & Stephane Shepard: Flutes (2,8,12)
Rabbi Gaddy Zerbib: Vocals [6]
What you hear on this track is typical of the album..A phenomenal creation by Can Am des Puig.
We are talking psychedelic and mystic folk with haunting melodies full of exotic instrumentationand trippy elements and ethereal female vocals. But more than that,it is a complete concept.
"Who can be muddy" can also be found at You Tube, uploaded by vicavox, with more to follow.

This is a ridiculously good song and just a wonderful album, which I am so happy I stumbled across. It was a complete fluke I came into contact with it, but that's more than often the way. I appreciate the recognition/reference in your summary as well, you've got some mighty fine videos uploaded yourself. Glad to see like minded folk posting up such classic unheard of works.
