"A Madness to His Method", the first official radio single from the full-length album 'The Romantic Lead', gets Indiewood treatment: a fabulous video directed by Michael Pope and produced by BriAnna Olson. Pope has directed videos for The Dresden Dolls, Amanda Palmer, and Bang Camaro. With the refrain of "I am gorgeous - I am without disease - there is nothing in this brave new world wrong with me," the song has quickly been adopted by outsiders as their anthem. The video reflects the song's themes of self-justification and reject-as-celebrity.

What can I say! Other than people who are trailblazers like Boy George and David Bowie.. i never get to see someone who feels/acts looks like me on MTV or in the gay press or anywhere! So inspiring! Be yourself! Love you Gene and also my favorite Starlettes!
Saw this on LOGO last night and it blew me away. Amazing song and wonderful video. It's Bowie meets 80's pop meets Freddy Mercury. Not a bad combination! Looking forward to hearing more!
