The Southeastern Arizona Bird Observatory is the place to see Sandhill cranes. Some of these great birds have migrated from as far away as Alaska and Siberia.

We have a lot of them here in Florida as well. Some even maintain a permanent residence and decide not to migrate.

Spotted a flock of a few hundred over our house in Roswell, GA today. They were flying southwest.

Saw a flock of them over Dayton, Ohio today. Gorgeous sounds.

Beautiful, interesting video. I just saw a crane fly-in at the Lodi Sandhill Crane Festival in The San Joaquin Valley in California. We are fortunate that the cranes have made such a remarkable comeback over the years. Thank you farmers.
