Martin started making them again and you can get a new Martin 5K ukulele for $4199.00. With Martins the lifetime warranty is for the original owner only. If I'm a collector I'm got to get the vintage ones, but for one that I'm going to play I'd prefer to get a new one.

Beautiful Style 5K Martin Ukulele with the Koa wood and inlays. I have one for sale on consignment at Elderly music in Lansing Michigan. It's in Excellent shape, with original case and key only 12000

Oh yes, that famous guitar company from Philadelphia, Martins made some wonderful ukuleles; You can tell their age by looking at the inlays...

Seriously, thanks for sharing! The old Martin 5K is without a shadow of a doubt the most wondrous and wonderful ukulele ever built and this clearly is one of the nicest examples to survive.
