Safe Drive Stay Alive Wednesday, November 2, Beach Ballroom, Aberdeen
Back for its seventh year, the hard-hitting show aims to reinforce the importance of safe driving by combining an emotive film with real life stories in a stage show that will leave the audience speechless as it illustrates how one mistake can change the course of a life forever.

If you know a teenager that would benefit from seeing this event then please bring them along to the show, it's a powerful message and it could save a life.

Organisers have warned that the show may not be suitable for children under the age of 16 due to the content.

Safe Drive Stay Alive features members of the emergency services and medical staff. In 2009, for the first time the show featured driving instructor Dave Trigger, who talks about what he teaches his students during their lessons.

The public session is free to attend and doors will open at 7.15pm, with the show beginning at 7.30pm.

For more information contact Kate Rigby on 01467 6284390 or email kate.rigby@aberdeenshire.gov.uk

Safe Drive Stay Alive will also be on Twitter via Aberdeenshire Council's Twitter feed @Aberdeenshire using the hash tag #SDSA - why not join the conversation and let us know what you think of the show.

During 2010, 305 serious injuries were sustained in road traffic collision across Grampian and 37 people were killed on the roads in the area last year. A quarter of those were in the 17-25 age group. Let's reverse this trend!
