Another washer! This is the Miele WS 5445, running on Cottons 95°C.

This is a vid from the "holiday series".

While I was on holiday, I visited a small laundromat. And ofcourse, I brought some laundry.. ;)

I'm sorry for the bad images; almost no sunlight came into the room and the launderette was lit by TL-light.. My camera has difficulties with that.

I really like the FU-Motor (brushless) and the automatic detergent dispensing thing; I also find it really cool that this Miele only took 15 minutes to get from 20°C-95°C (!!). But I don't like the rinsing on this machine (you can see that the final rinse water is still a bit sudsy) and not all of the stains were removed from the laundry. But hey, I wasn't surprised about that; this Miele has very short programmes!

Enjoy..!!

  • Is there any place I can find out how long time the different programs take? :)

  • @Thappaz I'm afraid you can't! There are lots of things that determine how long this machine takes. If you hook it up to hot water, and connect it to 400V, it takes less than an hour to do a 95°C wash, but on cold water and 230V, it might take 90 minutes...

  • Hi Wiljannn Im from Denmark and that miele machine rigth there is the most common industrial washer here (when were talking small laundrymats :) i have also done a lot of repairing on those machines so i know a lot of the inside too (maybe you know whats inside to) :)

but we just got new models when they are replacing those models they are replacing them with the Miele Navitronic models :)

    Take care

  • Hii!

I know, they're also the most common Dutch laundromat washers :)

I also made a few vids with the new PW6065 Navitronic washer. They're nice, although I find the older WS washers easier to repair :)

  • wenn du vorwäsche drückst macht die dann nen bestimmten teil der gesamtmenge in die vorw oder extra dosiert?? weißt du des ?

  • the only thing thats different between the industrial machine and the domestic machine is the electronics.. but otherwise the looks are mostly the same but as you know domestic machines are usually more "friendly" to look at :)

    Take care

  • Hi Thanks for answering :)

yea they are really easy to deal with, but of course they are because they almost did´nt change the way they build it up, it´s almost the same, even the domestic machines have the same motor and the same pump and so on, and that is brilliant, because having a domestic top model in miele is totally the same as the 5425, but the 5445 have carbon free motors though, i have the domestic model of the 5425 which is the Royal/novotronic 921 :) great machine :)
