It appears you are basing your beliefs on events that are well-documented for their power of self-deception. Your entire testimonial experience is readily reproduced by every other major religion and then cited as "evidence" for truth. If we truly wish for our beliefs to have an accurate bearing on reality, then it is vitally important to maintain a harsh skepticism. Otherwise, we are doomed to form ill-founded beliefs out of pure cognitive bias. Why have you not done this with your faith?
