The only thing wrong with this bit is that Ortiz should be in the home uniform and Jorge in the visitors. Wally stays in Fenway and doesn't travel I believe. I don't think mascots are needed for pro sports. College maybe and even then the only cool one is the St. Joe Hawk for St. Josephs U.

Oh yeah and Ortiz is a cool guy, no respect for the fact that he juiced but a ton of people did, including our own A-Rod and Clemens. I hate Youkilis and Pedroia like most Yankees fans, but I don't get how people can hate Ortiz, too much class and way too chill.

As a Yankees fan I have to say: respect for Big Sloppy is officially up.
And to any uninformed idiot Yanks fans, stop making real Yanks fans look bad. A real fan would know Posada is pretty much done, I want him to be a bench player and mentor for his last season, and I want Jesus Montero to come up to DH and occasionally catch. Ortiz has actually been pretty good this year, and coming from a Yankees fanatic you know it's gotta be true.
