wrong you can get hired as messenger as long as you know how to ride a bike and are familiar with the city you are riding in.
Squid, Heather, JC, and other Mess Collective or Cyclehawk riders are some of the best riders NYC has to offer so you couldn't just walk in looking for a job with them. gotta start small.
