  • @darkthunder84 If I went into the past, and killed my parents, and then traveled forward in time again, i'd appear in a time where I never existed, and where my parents were killed long ago. But as a person, I -would- exist the instant I appear in the future.

  • The way I see it, the only real "flaw" with the first movie (as discussed in this video), is that Marty should never have been in any real danger of effecting his own timeline/history. If I travel into the past (from Timeline A), the instant I appear in the past, I create (from my own perception), a new Timeline (B). Anything I do could effect the outcome of the new timeline, and whereby traveling into the future, would be the future of Timeline B (as shown in BTTF2).

  • I have seen the movies so many times, but for the first time I saw the pink car from the rebuilding-add actually coming round the corner, at the moment Goldie says what it costs to rebuild your car.

The movies are full of funny details like that. you spot new ones everytime.

  • "Roads?! Where we're going we don't need roads!"

    That line is freakin' EPIC!

  • I disagree on the idea of real time-travel. Back to the Future does a fantastic job of accurately showing how time-travel COULD really work in a believable way as well as the effects of time-travel, but to me it's just fantasy and a movie. I don't believe traveling through time could really happen (if anything, the films also demonstrate the dangers of it, especially Part 2).

Now the idea of real hoverboards. That's something I wouldn't mind seeing.

  • THIS IS WHY I LOVE MICHIO KAKU. and back to the future. AND MICHIO KAKU.
