The beginning sounds a bit like Howl's Moving Castle! I love Hisashi's music!

In traditional horoscope/zodiac/tarot readings, the moon represents the unconscious or sub-conscious. I think Hisaishi-sensei is expressing that. His pieces move me on a level that opens doors beyond logic. And yet, once they are known, they are within the logic of the soul. It is learning.

an endless pond stretching as far as the eye can see with only two people in sight. one is a young boy who is with his little sister playing in a never ending dream of youth. a stone gently skips across the water symbolising the boys tears as he realises his dream is the end as his sister died days ago. he realises this is the end but letting go is truly painful and the mind breaking lonliness gives a pain so sharp, so sad that he can't even cry. the boy sees a train and chooses to join her.

Joe Hisashi is becoming my favorite composer right now...
Nobuo Uematsu and him are modern time geniuses.
Some people stereotype stuff just because Uematsu for example makes music for video games. They do not recognize geniuses.
Please, any one of you, can you watch the video called "Joe Hisashi - The End of the Story" or this link "/watch?v=5C9ltv2Ei94"
& tell me the name of the song and where it was used. Because I searched on google, I think "The End of the Story" isn't the real title.
