Freed from Terrorism restated democracy
Champika: He said that, the past presidential elections were held over dead bodies. This is the seventh president. The elections in 82, 88, 94, 99 and, 2005 were decided by guns during seven presidential elections. This is the first time in the Sri Lankan history that a free presidential election is held in a democratic manner for all. Not only that former presidents, JR, Premadasa, Chandrika controlled only a part of the country. This is the first presidential election held under one president, one country one law for every inch of the land.
Allegation: Increased Nepotism and Corruption in the name of Development
0:30 Shiral said the present government is corrupted and misuses development aids in the name of development. He said Mahinda Rajapakse Government is ruled by nepotism. He gave examples such as fruads in building flyovers at the cost of US$500mwhere actual cost is only US$ 250 milionsn for each, Kerawalapitiya power plant, Norochchole power plant. 01:35 Champika: Ranil came to power in 2001 to eradicate corruption of Chandrika (former president) but he did the same, Started from VAT fraud. He let Mr. Imtiaz Bakirmakers cousin Kamil Kutupdeen who was the chief supplier of Jana-bala meheyuma (UNP political propaganda campaign) to misuse millions rupees of VAT fraud (tax money). Now opposition is accusing that us for that.
Thuggery and Patriotism
2:02 UNP organizer: He accused goverment for poor governance like showing crocodiles in a glass of water; they ruled the country terrorizing people. The key element of present governance is patriotism. Neru said once patriotism is the last meeting-point of thugs. The song of patriotism and separatism is the song they were singing all the time.
2:52 Champika: Champika wondered if they are crocodiles in a glass of water seen by patriots? He questioned those who were ripped off and killed 127 people at Pettah (Colombo) on 21st April 1987 are crocodiles of a glass of water? He asked if those were the same crocodiles who blewed the former Executive president R. Premadasa on the Armour street , Colombo, The bomb blast at Central Bank of Sri Lanka on 31st Jan 1996 which killed 100s, the bomb blast attemple of tooth in Kandy on 25 january 1998, Ethnic cleansing and drive away of 25,000 Sinhalese in Jaffna? Killed and drived away of 60,000 Muslims in Jaffna by a 72hrs notice? If it so, the crocodile not any more (LTTE).
Do we Need a change? What threats we have?
3:57 Shiral: It is the time for a change and implement a national policy of good governance. We feel the need for a change and lets do it on 26th January 2010.

Riots by anti-riots. Wicramasinghe is dreaming to be executive prime minister through Fonseka, so do Sarath Silva (Former Chief Jusitce now in Opposition), Sampanthan, Rudrakumar (LTTE current leader live in USA) also dreaming release of 10,000 LTTE cadres by Fonseka when he becomes President to send those terrorists back to jungle and restart (LTTE) terrorism in Sri Lanka with weapons, claymore bombs, and land mines not yet recovered in the Wanni jungle.

Note: Vote for Mahind Rajapakse. There are corruption, Nepotism, Thuggery. But anti-separatism should be the piority in both presidential candidates' agendas. In that context, Mahinda Rajapakse has proven results and resources to protect unity of Sri Lanka.
