@TsubasaDreams I didn't even consider that about Maroney! She does the Amanar the best ever so why wouldn't see try. Oh, I think Wieber's fine. Nothing Elena Muhkina bad RIP :(. Douglas very well could. Right now it's hard to predict AA or not (I think it's Wieber and Ross) but she's good on all events. She's good on bars. She could probably add another release or two in or more pirouettes just for CV.

I really hope that she'll upgrade from a 1 1/2 yurchenko to a double twisting oneee :)

@ShawnVikaKomova2012 I'm not sure why the Chinese seem to lack mental toughness but it could be the lack of leadership. I can easily see Maroney going for the triple-twisting Yurchenko and if she does it as beautifully as her Amanar, I'll be in heaven! I'm hoping Wieber is okay, she was probably tired from the American Cup. I think Douglas might sneak under the radar and make the Olympic team because her bars are good and she has some eagle grip work going on.

@TsubasaDreams Oh, that's so stupid! Yeah, they need a good leader. Jiang's okay but Cheng was so strong. Yeah, Wieber's front could've paralyzed her! It was a freak accident really! Maroney consistantly does her Amanar the same! I really didn't see much footage yet so I'll check out Douglas on youtube. I hope Chow keeps the elites coming.

I think the WTC now considers the Huang the same as the endo 1/1. So she wouldn't have gotted credit for it if she did it. Huang and a majority of the Chinese team are headcase-y. At Jesolo, Wieber fell on her layout front on FX, it looked really scarey! Maroney's Amanar is just beautiful and she has so much potential on the other events. At Jesolo, Gabrielle Douglas was the real star. She has it all, no weak event, power and flexibility to spare and she can easily upgrade in many places.

@TsubasaDreams Yeah. I was angry witht the scoring. It was up and down and all messed up! I liked the same routines. Lopez kind of came out of no where! I felt bad for Huang. She needs something to calm herself down. Two falls, poor girl. But if she didn't fall and did the Huang pirouette she would've won, that is only if Wieber and Musty fell though. Mitchell had a tough time too. I think she's getting a bit worn out. And then Jesolo, Maroney beat Wieber which was kind of a surprise.

Yeah, it's been way too long. I think that the right people were on the right places on the podium at the American Cup but the scoring itself was very weird. Wieber's floor was a gift and her bars couldn't have been hit harder. But Mustafina's vault, beam and floor were pretty generous too. I think the routines of the night were Wieber's vault, Mustafina's bars, Wieber's beam, which was as close to perfect as it could be done, and Lopez's floor. I think Lopez's beam was gorgeous too.

@TsubasaDreams It's been a while since we've discussed gymnastics but I just wanted to see what you thought of the American Cup?
